Come celebrate Darwin’s birthday at the Armory, 208 Oak St, Suite 101, with cake, a raffle, and a live demo of the Tree of Life. Len Eisenberg will show how all living things are related using his unique evolutionary tree and interactive website. Charles Darwin would be deeply satisfied, and astonished at the amount of fossil evidence, and DNA evidence, that has come to light since his day, and which all supports his theory of evolution. In biology, nothing makes sense without it. Len’s website, evogeneo.com, and his online Tree of Life Explorer make teaching evolution more fun and effective by showing the family connections between all living things. "You are related not only to every living thing, but to every thing that has ever lived."
Also presenting will be a team of volunteers with exciting ideas for Jefferson Center 2020 event programs and beyond. The future of the Center rests on programs that feed our minds and build our community. The insights and talents of members are vital to creating these programs.
