No More Band-Aids: Health Care for ALL

At the Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland, Sandra Coyner will lead a presentation and discussion of the current legislative agenda (federal and state) of Health Care for All Oregon, an educational and advocacy non-profit. HCAO’s emphasis has been to avoid getting entangled in “band-aids,” which would undoubtedly help some people but leave a corrupt and ridiculously expensive system intact. Single-payer or “Medicaid for All” would be a disruptive change but holds promise for providing better care to more people for less money.

A long-term Jefferson Center member, Sandra is also a retired SOU professor and current Board member of HCAO.
