On October 13, 2013 at 4pm The Jefferson Center Salon "Everything you ever wanted to know about Marijuana but were afraid to ask" will be present by Alex Rogers. Alex Rogers is a magna cum laudi graduate in Political Science from Southern Oregon University who has been an activist for cannabis legalization for over twenty years. He has worked with HIghTimes Magazine, Ed Rosenthal, Debby Goldsberry, Dennis Peron, DonDuncan and the late Jack Herer. He is currently the CEO of Ashland Alternative Health and Northwest Alternative Health. Topics to be covered include: Oregon medical marijuana laws and how they are enforced, what may happen in the future in terms of legalization, how other states are dealing with recent marijuana laws enacted (WA & CO), what is happening at the federal level and how this interacts with state laws, and the progress of federal legalization.
