Whats the Harm?

Assume you and a friend are talking about, lets say, homeopathy and since you and I know that homeopathy liquids are just water and have no active component, you tell your friend that homeopathy is a scam and should be restricted. You friend says, "look, if it is only water, what's the harm in letting people buy it?".

This site provides example of the harm done to people who have not exercised critical thinking and as a result have been scammed, or otherwise harmed.
The site asserts that at least 350,000 people have been killed, 300,000 injured and over 2 Billion of economic damage.
