Phil Neujahr continues his lecture series on Plato's Republic at the Jefferson Center, Suite 101 in the Old Ashland Armory building between Pioneer St. and Oak St. The text of the Republic which will be used is the translation by G.M.A. Grube from Hackett Press, which is available in paperback. Each session of the class will cover 1-2 books of Plato's work, with the pace depending on the engagement of class members. Class attendees will be asked to read selections ahead of each class discussion.

Everyone who wishes to read the Republic and to learn something about the philosophy of Plato is welcome to attend Philip's course. It is free of charge, with no requirements except his request that you read the text. For more information, contact him at
