Thomas Jefferson Memorial Lecture with Richard Parham:
The Clergy Project: Ministers Who Don't Believe, at the Talent Library

The Clergy Project is a community started in 2011 for the support of current and former clergy who do not hold supernatural beliefs. For details, see www.clergyproject.org One can easily imagine the difficulties experienced by clergy who loose their faith, yet remain in their day jobs, unsure of how to make the transition to a new reason-based life and new employment.

Robert Parham is a former clergyman, and advisor and supporter of The Clergy Project, and will give the Fall 2012 Thomas Jefferson Memorial Lecture on September 19, at 7pm. His talk on the experiences of some of the 100’s of members of The Clergy Project (including himself), and their long journey from faith to reason, will be a fascinating insight into the world of the believer who learns to doubt.
