All are welcome to join the "Brain Books" discussion group as it discusses Misbehaving: the Making of Behavioral Economics by Richard Thaler (2015). In recent decades, "behavioral economics" has challenged the traditional view held by most economists that people are fundamentally rational and, by extension, a free market will work rationally. We have biases and are often not at all rational.

This book discussion group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month, 1:30-3:30 pm, in the Ashland Public Library Guanajuato Room.
