Brain Books discussion grp - "The Center Holds"

The Center Holds by Jonathan Alter (2013). This book discusses HOW Obama won the 2012 election. Given the general focus of our group, we want to be alert to how the campaigns varied in their methods of figuring out what was "true" (especially in polling) and how well they did or did not use the findings of researchers we have been reading about, appealing (or not) to the various ways human brains make decisions. This discussion group meets in the Ashland Public Library 1:30-3:30 on the 4th Tuesday. All are welcome.
